Age-Link Specialist Clinic for Older Persons is a specialist clinic for geriatric medicine. Geriatric medicine is that branch of medicine concerned with the clinical, preventive, remedial and social aspects of illnesses in older persons (British Geriatric Society).

Our clinic provides expertise for addressing different aspects of health concerns commonly faced by older persons. These include comprehensive geriatric assessment (screening and management of conditions commonly encountered in older persons - often referred to as geriatric syndromes), management of "ortho-geriatric" conditions such as osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, co-ordination and review of care for multiple co-existent chronic illnesses and rehabilitation of older persons recovering from major illnesses.

Our doctor and staff work closely with other specialists and allied health personnel (physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and dietitians) to provide a comprehensive service that is aimed at optimizing the health and physical independence of older persons.
